Getting Here

We appreciate that Cornwall isn't the easiest place in the country to get to, so thought we would offer some guidance.  There are trains from London Paddington to St Austell (a bus ride or taxi away from Fowey) or to Bodmin Parkway (about a 10 minute taxi from the registry office, or 20 minutes from Fowey).
Another option (if there are several people) would be to get a train to Plymouth and then get a taxi (£50 to Bodmin, £68 to Fowey, split six or seven ways, taking about an hour).
National Express coaches are also available, taking about 6 hours from Victoria coach station.

Those of you who have cars will, we're assuming, drive.  If people have space in their cars and want some gas money then lift sharing would be great.

Please feel free to use the comments section below to facilitate this, whether looking for a lift, finding people to share a taxi with from Plymouth, or merely finding someone to share a train beer with.

We appreciate all of you!

  1. Hey guys, if anybody has a spare 2 seats in their car and are driving from london, me and Jonathan would be happy to give you some petrol monies and plenty of pick and mix / crisps / jovial conversation! Please let us know. Also, i've found a house on air bnb with 4 double beds and hot tub! Could be good for a bunch of wedding guests. Let me know if you want more info.
